Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

The IBPS PO exam consists of three stages:

Preliminary Exam:

This is a qualifying exam consisting of three sections: 

English Language
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning Ability. 

 The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not considered for the final merit list.


Mains Exam:

This exam consists of four sections:

 Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
 English Language
 Data Analysis & Interpretation
 General Economy & Banking Awareness.

 There is also an English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) section.

Interview: Candidates who qualify in the mains exam are called for an interview.
